Lopar is located only 12 km from the city of Rab. It is also known as “sand paradise” thanks to its many natural sand beaches (that are very rare on Adriatic) and lots of romantic, lonely bays that look like they are made to enjoy the hollyday!

With a tourism tradition for more than one hundred years, this place is the winner of the Blue Sail Reward for the best small tourist town on Kvarner.
Lopar is a tourist resort and the place is known for its exceptional natural beauty and picturesque sandy beaches along the highly indented coastline . The local population is involved in tourism, agriculture, livestock and fisheries. It is surrounded by numerous islands and islets, notably Goli, Grgur, Školjić .

Century-old tourist tradition of this place and investment in tourism, preserved nature, valuable cultural – historical heritage, and numerous awards that Rab diligently been collecting, are a guarantee of quality. It has from 1000 to 3000 inhabitants, and at national level special award for the highest quality offer beaches in Croatia.
